here's a question to ponder:
why is it called the labi *fight* song? why are we fighting?
shouldn't we be peace makers?
are not we called to reconciliation with Christ and our fellow humans?

i say we change it to the "labi *inspirational* song"

thanks. that's all for now.

We really should learn this song in spanish. We looked a bit silly not knowing the words.
Bro. Archie kept mouthing the words to us hoping we would stop butchering the song.
How many alumni really know the song. Just wondering. Cause I never really learned it.

Querida escuela sigue adelante
Que Dios las puertas te abrira
Aunque gigantes quierean vencerte
Grandes victorias te esperan
Ya!Ya!Ya

LABI you must go forward
The Lord will open a door for you
In lands of giants you'll be a conqueror
Victory is waiting
Go onward, Go!Go! Go!

Of course I only know the words cause my former pastora Sis. Vargas wrote it....

so i've been singing it wrong this whole time? geez...and here i am thinking that it was just a whole bunch of "la la las" until the end where we yell "si si si!" (which was also wrong). d-oh!

How about this one.....

Mi escuela donde pude
Saber mas del Maestro
Lugar de refrigerio de mision
"amor y santidad"
Mi escuela son tus hijos
que hoy cantan de tus glorias
de todas tus proesas que
El SeƱor ahi les consedio

I just don't know all the other 20 estrofas.....

I believe since we are in the hip hop era we should add some (((bass))) to it.
Eample: LAB ((Bass)) we must go (((Bass)))

Interesting Art, I think we could use a little "bass" in all our songs.
Just have to be careful no one starts to drop it like it's hot. Cause really....... it's not.

hmmm...but with a hip-hop remix of our labi fight song, one might not be able to even hear the words:

for instance:

in the land of(((BASS))) (((BASS)))
we'll be a ((((BASS))) (((BASS)))
victory's (((BASS))) (((BASS)))
go onward!
(((BASS))) (((BASS))) (((BASS)))

i'm afraid that, perhaps, the message would be lost in all the chaos.
